November Favourites!!

Hey Readers,
Hope this post finds you well. Once again I apologise for no favs post last month and that posts this month have been scarce. October and November has seen everything get really busy all at once and it has made time to blog hard but I found have some free time and I decided it was time to tell you about the products I have been loving over the last two months. October while not as busy as the current month saw the introduction to a few new products to my collection so I had spent most of the month getting to know those as well as continuing to shop my stash to work out my most favourite products, with November being so busy I really have been sticking with what I know will work!!! So here are the few outstanding products for the months!!

Lorac Pro Palette
I have ummed and arrrghd over buying this palette for most of the year while at the same time I have really been on the hunt for a good matte and shimmer palette and after much research I knew that this was my pick but spending the money to get my hands on one here was what held me back!! It was Instagram one day that a girl I follow from the states was selling the palette for a reasonable price she also was willing to ship internationally at a shipping price I couldn't pass up!! Now I have to be honest and say that it wasn't the easiest experience this seller at times was hard to communicate with as she spends periods of time away from social media and email not answering communication regularly, at the same time you take the chance with the postal service as well this ended up in Canada at one stage and was sent back to the seller before making it to me!! After all that though I ended up with a perfect palette free from damage and I have pretty much used it ever since. The slim line packaging makes it easy to travel with and the combination of neutral shimmer and matte colours means that I have any look at my finger tips!! All shadows are true from pan to skin and are soft, buttery, pigmented, easy to apply and blend.  I have had small amounts of fallout for some of the shimmer shades but once applied the stay all day.  I am loving experimenting with different looks, mixing different shades, creating all matte or all shimmer looks. If you can get your hands on one I highly recommend!!!

Essence Be Loud Blush in 01 AP-RI(C)OT
This blush was apart of the Be Loud trend collection a couple of months ago and it has been my go to for most of the month this mosaic of pink, light and dark apricot combined gives a gorgeous predominatly matte (it only has a slight shimmer running through) peachy pink to the cheek it is easy to apply, blend and is buildable it also lasts which is why I love essence blushes!!

Essence Viva Brasil 02 Destination: San Paulo!
This has been my other go to blush these past couple of weeks now this isn't a colour I would usually pick up but something drew me to it at the time of purchase and I am glad I did. This is a highly pigmented blush and a little goes a long way. In the pan it does look a slightly scary deep red but on the cheeks this blends to a beautiful red coral that gives a gorgeous colour to the face and cheeks now as I said it is pigmented so a little goes a long way and being to heavy handed can cause the clown effect but it does blend out easily so don't be too worried if you go over board!! It also is long lasting which I have been loving for when I need my makeup to go all day.

Now I know these are both limited edition and its most likely that you won't be able to get your hands on these ones particularly but I include them to show you just how good they are!! Essence is probably our most affordable brand that has amazing quality to their products and its the reason I snap up products from their trend editions. Their blushes particularly are more often then not matte, highly pigmented, easy to apply build and blend and they last all day without fading or touch ups!!

Model Co Lip Lacquer in the shade Morocco
I am not the biggest lip gloss fan and at the same time my relationship with model co cosmetics has been a bit hit and miss but this lip gloss has become my go to. Its not only an easy neutral colour to wear not to pink and not too brown has the right amount of gloss. It isn't sticky but yet lasts a long time and the slightly extended applicator means its easy to apply even when your using you phone as a mirror!!! Packaging is a little over sized so putting it in your pocket to go isn't the easiest but a small clutch purse it does fit.

Physicans Formula Eye Definer Felt Tip Eye Marker in Ultra Black
I usually prefer to use pencil liners as often I make mistakes with my liner and I like the option of being able to blend it out or put shadow over the top to fill in the gaps so I am not entirely sure why I pulled this out of my stash this month but all of a sudden I felt like bold black liner. I have had this liner for a while and it is the only felt tip liner I have ever owned that has lasted such a long time. Its really easy to apply great for adding a wing and it stays a true matte black all day long I have actually really enjoyed the change from pencils!!!

So that ends the products I have been loving for this month. If you are in the mood for a new blush I do recommend the essence ones and if your looking for a new liner the physicans formula one is good (see iHerb.com for cheap prices). Until next time Happy reading and Happy shopping!!!

Bellabox November and October review

Hey Readers,
I hope this post finds you well!!! I am sorry it has been so long between posts but it seems as the festive season has geared up everything has gotten really busy and I have been unable to sit down and blog properly but this week my Bellabox has arrived and I am taking the opportunity to review Octobers and show you the amazing box that is November!!!

October review

Model Co Skin care.
Was excited to try these and overall wasn't disappointed with the results. It was really great to get to try a few different products from the one range and as I said I was lucky enough to receive the same four samples in my last lust have it pack as well so have been able to try more than once. OK so a quick review of all four products. Ill start with the one that wasn't the most exciting in my opinion. The instant miracle booster, a little bit runny for a sachet sample but went on smooth and dries nicely I just don't feel it did much I don't really feel my skin is firmer or more brightened. The Soothing Moisturiser for day and night. This I enjoyed it goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly with no residue on the skin. I found the scent initially is a bit strong but it doesn't linger and my skin felt great will consider the full size if I see it for a good price. The exfoliating cream facial scrub again a nice product to use its not overally creamy and the scrub particles are dense enough that they don't get lost in the product my face felt so smooth after as well. The Double sided facial wipes these were the ones I most enjoyed and I recently bought a full size pack. The really do a great job, not harsh on the skin and remove a hard days makeup with ease impressed with this range overall.

Rimmel Apocolips Lip Laquer
Really enjoyed this one this month the colour is quite neutral and it made for an easy to wear and apply everyday lip colour that went with any makeup look!!! It also lasts a decent amount of time so you don't constantly have to reapply.

Nivea Antiperspirant Stress Protect
Not only good when under the pump at work but also has been a really great option during the 30 plus degree heat we've been having in Queensland this month. Being a spray its easy to apply and dries quick it also doesn't have an over whelming scent which I have enjoyed.

Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner
A really great new formulation of this shampoo and conditioner and once again happy that I was able to try it twice. It washes well and leaves my hair soft, smooth and silky.

Kester Black Nail polish
Given that nail polish doesn't really agree with my job (I wash my hands too many times a day) this has only been applied to my toes but these polishes are definitely easy to apply, opaque in one coat high shine, long lasting and chip resistant have been enjoying this bright colour for summer.

November Bellabox
Christmas has come early with my BB arriving this month and WOW doesn't really cover what I have received this month. BB had released one spoiler alert earlier in the month but I still wasn't expecting all the goodies that arrived!!!!

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette Sampler received a four shadow palette, full size is 20 shadows.
This was the spoiler for BB this month and originally it was you would either receive this palette or a nyx jumbo pencil then we got an email to say that everyone would receive this palette happy about that and could not wait for my box to arrive.  I have only seen the palette in reviews and tutorials on you tube, coastal scents is an american brand so it isn't that easy to obtain here so I am very excited to be able to try a few of these shadows out. They are all neutral and will lend themselves to an easy day/night look.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk received a full size pencil
Imagine my surprise when I opened this box and not only had I received the coastal scents palette but also the much sought after NYX jumbo pencil in Milk!!!!  I have wanted one of these for so long and every time I am at target whether NYX is on sale or not I am never able to get my hands on this colour. Cannot wait to try!!!

Le Tan Wash Off Dark Bronze received a full size 40g can
This I have actually received from BB before not a bad product quite easy to apply not a bad colour I've said this before I don't really self tan so I am not that excited about this one.

Palmers Multi Effect Perfecting Facial Oil received a small vial sample (no ml on packaging) full size is 30ml
Interested to try this one said to help with the reduction of the appearance of  fine lines, help skin to look healthy, tight and glowing!!! Being an oily combo babe I usually stray away from adding any extra oil to my face but I have recently read about its benefits so will give a try.

Allegra Rhodes Hand and Nail Cream received a 5ml sample full size is 175ml
I have to say my first thought (with not too much enthusiasm) was yay another beauty box another hand cream!!!! But that was until I took the lid off and smelt the product and tried it out that I was won over it smells gorgeous and is smooth to apply and easily absorbed will keep using!!!

So that ends Novembers box. Excited to try all these products cannot wait to dive in!! A really great box this month cannot wait for the next one!! Until then happy reading and happy shopping.

Mascara Maddness #9

Hey Readers,
I hope this post finds you well. I know it hasn't been that long since my last mascara maddness post and I only have two mascaras to talk about this time. But while I would usually wait at least a month or two to really form an opinion on a mascara these two  I have been enjoying pretty much from the word go and I just can't wait to tell you about them!!!

Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara in the shade Black
The Pitch: Clump free volume and definition for full, perfectly smooth and clump free lashes, a formula infused with Argan oil and a ultra flex brush that hugs lashes defining them from root to tip.

The Reality: WOW is all I can say!! Rimmel have finally come up with a really great formula that not only does what it claims but also doesn't disappoint after long term use. I usually find with Rimmel mascaras the are great for the first couple of weeks then they get dry, clumpy and messy. This is where Wonder'full really resets the standard!! A beautiful soft formula that glides on and the brush really does catch each lash, it is also a bit wetter which I find doesn't leave your lashes/eyes with that sticky feeling post application and you can easily apply to both the top and bottom lashes. It gives great definition, leaves you lashes feeling soft and while it stays all day it does remove quite easily!! Love this one a great everyday no hassle mascara.

Covergirl Bombshell Volume Mascara
This Pitch: Flaunt the next big thing in lashes with Bombshell Volume by LashBlast Mascara! The brilliant two-step Bombshell Boost System combines extreme volume with an intensifying top coat for big, sexy bombshell lashes. Step One: Apply the extreme volume basecoat. Step Two: Finish with the intensifying top coat.

The Reality: This is the first two step mascara that I have actually found my self reaching for. The first wand is identical to what we are used to with the lashblast collection a short rubber bristled brush that catches the lashes defining and giving volume. The second wand however is a narrow wire bristled brush which really enhances your lashes and gives them that big lash effect really great for when you want a bit more that just a natural lash look. Both wands also allow you to apply easily to the top and bottom lashes. The only one thing that I don't like about this mascara is it is a little bit harder to get off you really need a micellar water or eye makeup remover to make sure you have it all!!! Despite this it gives great volume and definition to the lashes, without clumping and it stays all day!!!

So that ends another mascara maddness!!! Two great mascaras that really live up to what the advertising says its a nice change and I am happy to be enjoying these for a little longer!!! So until next post Happy reading and Happy shopping!!!
