Lust Have It May and April Review

Hey Readers,
May is nearly :( I have been really enjoying this month, it doesn't seem to have gone as fast as the rest hence I was a little surprised when this box was delivered. I had been really enjoying trying all the products I had recieved in April so wasn't expecting a new lot just yet. But it is the end of the month :(, my new box is here so time to review the box that was.

LHI April Review
I really enjoyed April's LHI it was packed full of interesting products and I have for the most part enjoyed giving everything a try.

Molton Brown Patchouli and Saffron Body Wash
As I said in my original post the smell of this stuff is quite heady and as a little goes a long way this 30ml sample is still going I've been enjoying this one but given the price tag I most likely would not buy the full size.

Gosh Cosmetics Mono Eye Shadow in 010 Light Brown
This gold toned shade has an extreamly fine shimmer and is subtle on the lid. I have really enjoyed using this just swept over the lid for a neutral look or paired with a coloured liner it makes the colour really pop on the lash line. I have even used it as a contour adding just a small amount of shimmer to a otherwise matte look. Really enjoyed this one wouldn't mind giving other shades a go.

Goldwell Dualsences Ultra Volume Shampoo
Despite being really excited to try this one it was a little bit of a let down. Smelling like watermelon it was really nice to use but it didn't wash my hair very well and I really got very little extra volume bit disappointing!!!

Pink Tiger Duri Cosmetics Nail Tool: Nail File and Lint Free Gauze.
Wasn't really excited by these but did give them the benefit of the doubt and tried. Was a little impressed by the lint free gauze. Despite resembling gauze swabs you use in first aid I was amazed by how well they took polish off although I did need a few bundled together and they did fray removing glitter polish. The nail file is just as regular as any cheap one you can get at Kmart.

John Plunkett Essentials Anti Aging Creme Cleanser and Makeup Remover.
Again a product from the John Plunkett range that didn't disappoint  As a cleanser in the shower it didn't do a lot for me it just didn't foam up enough for my liking. So I have been using primarily as a makeup remover putting on dry, massaging in and removing with a damp cotton round. Absolutley amazed at how it gets rid of all my makeup including gel eyeliner and mascara. I did find that it works better put on dry rather than wet skin first. Amazing am trying to find a store were I can get this one!!!

LHI May

The Natural Source Camoflage Colour Lipgloss in the shade Wild Orange 011
Was excited to see this inclusion I have enjoyed previous products from this company and thought this was a good addition given we are going into the cooler months. While the shade I received is orange it swatches clear, it is a little stickier than I am not used to and it does contain a fair amount of glitter so definitely not subtle!!!

Seacret Buffing Block
This is a custom designed buffing block that helps create the ultimate looking manicured nail. Not to sure about this product the pamphlet that came with it says all the products mainly skin care are infused with dead sea minerals that help to relax and rejuvenate the skin but it is a little vague on whether that is inclusive of this buffing block. It looks just like a regular buffing block but with a RRP of $30 and the claim of beautifully maincured nails post use I am hoping that looks a deceiving and my nails will soon look stunning!!!

Paula's Choice Clear Anti Redness Exfolating Solution received a 30ml sample full size is 118ml.
This solution has an active ingredient of 2% salicylic acid and says it prevents breakouts and fades red marks, unclogs and shrinks enlarged pores as well as clearing and preventing acne. It is applied post cleansing, can be applied all over the face and doesn't require being washed off. I am interested to try as I do have a few red marks that I would like to fade.

Nude by Nature Pawpaw Ointment
Initially I was excited to see this included as I do love a good paw paw ointment particularly as it is getting cooler. It makes for a great lip treatment, good for cuts, scraps, dry skin patches etc. I usually use the Lucas paw paw ointment (comes in a red tube) which I know to be 100% papaya. So I was a little disappointed when I read the ingredients list to find that for this one papaya is the second last ingredient I feel its a bit sneaky on the part of Nude by Nature to be branding as a paw paw ointment. But still it smells quite good and contains shea butter, sunflower oil, vitamin E ans Jojoba so will give it a try and see how it stacks up.

Tigi Elasticate and Recharge Shampoo and Conditioner received 2 sachets with 10ml of each product full size is 200ml.
Have never tried this brand of hair products before so interested to see how they go. The Elasticate says it strengthens weak hair to be breakage resistant and the Recharge brings high octane shine to dull lifeless hair.

So overall an interesting box this month not to sure if everything goes together but I have definitely received a little bit of everything!!!!

Hope this post finds you well, Happy Weekend and I will talk to you all soon!!!
Ever.

Bellabox May and April Review.

Hey Readers,
Another Month and another Bellabox has come my way and I have been very excited to see this one arrive!!! The theme of beauty SOS intrigued me and I couldn't wait to see what BB had come up with. But first the box that was...

Bellabox April
I just have to say that this review will be brief I did not really get a lot out of this box despite being so excited when I had first received it. Most of these products just didn't really work out for me.

Cellulix Glacial Mineral Gel
Not sure what to say about this one. Apart from the fact I'm not really a big face mask user as I don't often find the time to use them. This one was just ok and I am dissapointed wasn't as wowed and thought I would be.

Lash Card
These seemed like a good idea at the time but really are only helpful if you don't have to hold your mirror to see what you are applying. I am generally doing my makeup on the go I really found it hard to get the most out of these cards.

Orfluidio Beauty Elixar
This is still an amazing product, I really enjoy putting this through my hair post washing. It smells amazing and leaves hair so soft and silky.

Indigo Muti V Serum
Despite the hype over this product and the hefty price I was disappointed,  This is a gel based serum infused with vitamins and said to leave you skin renewed and glowing. It just really didn't work for me at all. Being a gel base you really have to work quickly post dispensing as it dries so fast, I also found that I needed at least two pumps to really make it go the distance and get some of the vitamin beads inside. As for the results I really didn't see any my skin looks the same as it always has.

Eyelure Natralites Eye Lashes
These are gorgeous lashes that are really natural and I still cannot wait to use them sadly the event I was going to wear them too I forgot to actually put them on :( I could not believe it!!!! but the party was fun and I'm sure there will be another chance around the corner.

Rimmel London BB cream
As I said in my original post for me this isn't the best BB cream out there and I got no joy out of this one.

Avene Micellar lotion
This was really the best product out of the box this month I have really enjoyed using this most of the month. Simple to use and the fact that within minutes all my makeup is gone at the end of a long day its just heaven!!!! It gets everything off including mascara worth the money!!!

May Bellabox
As I said at the start was really excited to see this box arrive. Earlier in the month  BB had given us the sneak peak that Beauty SOS would be the theme. At first I was excited but then had the thoughts that was this going to turn into a box of different sorts of hand creams and renewal/anti aging stuff made me think twice. But as more posts of their facebook and instagram came through I knew we were in for a whole lot more then just hand creams. This month is really a bumper box and I think I have received more products then ever before in a box and I cannot wait to try!!! Ok so onto what was packed inside...

Longitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating and Nourishing Facial Mask received 1 sachet full size is a box of 5.
Infused with coconut oil this mask penetrates the skin to strengthen underlying tissues, moisturises relieving dryness, flaking, sagging and age spots. As well as reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles OK so they did throw in a bit of renewal anti aging but I'm interested to try and happier to receive a mask then a serum or eye cream!!!!

Suico Absolute Volume Keratin Treatment Recieved 100ml deluxe sample full size is 500ml.
Am excited to give this a try said to smooth, strenghten, mositurise, leave hair shiny but managable and give hair volume. This is a product for me. I was never really into hair treatments before I started subscribing to beauty boxes but do enjoy giving all the ones I recieve in my boxes a go.I particuarlly like that this one treatment can potentially do so much for my hair all in one I love time saving products!!!

Bloom Shadow Liner recieved a full size in the shade Emerald green.
Am so grateful that I got a decent colour product this month YAY!!! This can be used as both a liner and as a shadow it is so creamy and soft yet the square shape allows you to line your eyes easily. Usually for work I'm a neutrals girl but am going to put a little bit of colour into the routine this week!! This emerald green is the perfect shade not to dark and has a bit of shimmer included!!!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo recieved a 3ml sample full size is 40ml
Most of the information on the packaging is written in french but from what I can find this product acts as both a moisturiser and as a treament to remove excess oils and unblock pores. I'm interested to see how it works.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel recieved 15ml full size is 200ml
Again most of the info is in french but this one at least says it is a purifying foaming gel so working on eliminating impurities and not irritating the skin it also says that it is pH 5.5 and soap free. Always up for a good cleanser I have combination to oily skin and often get the occasional blemish so am interested to give this a try.

Manicare Duo Length and Define Disposable Mascara Brushes recieved a full size pack of 10.
These are disposable mascara wands that not only allow you to share a mascara with others but also allow you to create different lash looks with the current mascara you are using. I had looked at these in Priceline as I have used a few mascaras in the past that the formula I like but the brush isn't the best.

Sanctury Spa Brightening Facial Illuminating Moisture Lotion SPF 15 recieved a full size of 75ml
Another exciting inclusion to this months box!!! This lotion not only give 24 hour hydration, contains SPF15 but also has mineral particles to give the skin a luminous glow. It also can be used as a base before makeup. I am really interested to give this a go as the weather gets colder I am finding I need a little bit of extra moisturiser.

Nanoblur recieved a 2ml sample full size is 30ml
FINALLY Bellabox has given us a bonus sample that actually fits the theme of the box!!! This is a gel cream that says it gives flawless skin in seconds erasing signs of aging, wrinkles, crows feet and enlarged pores. This really is beauty SOS in a sachet!!! Can be used both under and over foundation. Interested to give this a try.

So that is all that the May box contains. I am so happy to see all the products I received cannot wait to try and will put my thoughts into next months review. This certainly makes up for my last months box not working out so well and hope that BB continues to produce these kind of great boxes. If your interested in subscribing or want to know more go to Bellabox.com.au.

Happy Weekend Everyone
Ever.

MUA Make Up Academy Haul

Hey Readers,

I hope this post finds you well!!! I had purchased some products from MUA Make Up Academy mid month in April and really had not had time to sit and write this post. I was going to wait till I tried everything but I just couldn't wait to share!!!!
I was introduced to this brand via You Tube (surprise surprise!!!) months back having seen in a video that they had produced a good dupe palette for the naked palette from Urban decay. I was really tempted but at the time I had also seen that Chi Chi cosmetics had brought out there Glamorous nude palette and as that was easier to get my hands on I went with that. It then came up again I think this time on Instagram so I decided to look at the MUA website. It just so happened they were having a Birthday Sale and most products were half price with a few new products a pound off shipping is also flat rate and pretty reason able so I really couldn't go past. This company is in the UK so bare in mind that you do have to consider the conversion but at the end of the day as most items are under 5 pound its really not a big difference between the pound and our dollar.

Ok so onto what I bought.....

MUA Undressed Eye Shadow Palette and Undress Me Too Eye Shadow Palette.
These two really are great colour for colour dupes of Urban Decays Naked and Naked 2. As you all know I love a good neutral and I know that I didn't really need ANOTHER neutral palette (or two) but I could not go past at 3 pound which at the moment is roughly $4.40 even if you divide shipping its roughly $5 so I got two palettes for $10 THAT'S unheard of!! Particularly for the quality!!!! They are soft and pigmented and I cannot wait to give them a proper go. I also felt I was better off buying neutrals when I am not overly adventurous with colour day to day I knew they would get some use no matter what. Being quite compact they fit in my makeup bag perfect for travel. I am interested to see how they compare to my chi chi and naked 2 palettes as well as seeing the overall quality and as I have been considering buying other more colourful palettes as well!!!

MUA BB all in one beauty balm in the shade medium
This one says that it primes, smooths and conceals evening out the skin tone for a brighter and smoother complexion. I really enjoy BB creams and I know our western ones are not in the range of those in Asia but I really like the concept of most giving more coverage than a tinted moisturiser without being as heavy and potentially cakey as a foundation. I prefer light weight and really don't need a lot extra when I'm going to work.

MUA Matte Perfect Foundation in the shade Natural
This is apart of MUA's new line and caught my eye as I have always had issues with shine control. I also felt it could be the answer to not really loving primers and not always having time to touch up during the day. It says it keeps shine at bay all day and I will put that to the test!!!

MUA Shimmer Kisses Blusher in Pink Shimmer Kisses
This soft pink blush is one that I chose based on being four shades that you can mix and customise!! It's buildable and gives a really nice glow without the glitter!!!

MUA Shimmer Kisses Bronzer in Bronzed Shimmer Kisses
Like the blush this bronzer really gives a wonderful peachy golden glow without the glitter. I also feel that it could be used as a highlighter on the eyes and brow bone.

MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter
This is an amazingly pigmented pink toned highlighter and even though I've only swatched it on my hand it doesn't take a lot to get reasonable colour payoff it does remind me of theBalms mary luminizer so I cannot wait to compare the two!!!

MUA Blush Perfection Cream Blusher in the shade Dolly and in the shade Blossom.
Dolly is a highly primented pink peach toned blush while Blossom is a light pink they are quite buildable and workable but do dry quickly being matte shade I feel they lend themselves to being great for an ever day look or paired with a highlighter for a gorgeous glow!!!

MUA Kiss Proof Lip Stains in Kissalicious, Fabulicious and Fruitilicous
I bought these as I liked the idea of a matte lip colour that was buildable, long lasting and something that I can pop a gloss over during the day and not have to worry about messing up the colour underneath.

MUA Mega Volume Mascara in Black/Brown
I'm always up for a good mascara and as I was thinking about another mascara madness post I decided to pick this one up!!! After using the covergirl clump crusher in black/brown I am interested to try another one in this shade as I feel I get a more natural look.

Overall I am very happy with this purchases the MUA online store is easy to navigate and ordering to shipping was quite fast. I received my order within two weeks and everything came wrapped in bubble wrap!!! As I was originally not going to not write this post before I had a chance to try everything. I would like to know if you would of like to see a review of all the products or just one of the products if so leave a comment below, thumbs up/comment on my facebook  page or like the photo on instagram!!!

Talk to you soon

April Favorites

Hey Readers!!!
YES we have reached the end of another month!!! Cannot believe it is time for favorites already. I have not only reached for a few old favorites this but also have broken out a few new items that were bought during times of irresistible pricing and didn't really need!! To be brought out when I'd finished the current product I was using.

Swisspers Pure Softness 80 Makeup round pads and Bioderma Sebium H2O Micelle Solution for Combination oily skin
They first two items are my new go to makeup remover duo. After making the decison to reduce my use of makeup wipes due to the nasty chemicals thats in them and the fact I was finding it hard to find one that actually removed all my makeup. I was in search of a product that cleasend  and didn't require rubbing or resulted in stinging eyes. I was introduced to the Bioderma solution after recieving a sample size in a bellabox I really enjoyed it but at the time wasn't able to afford the price tag. It takes so little effort to just put on a swisspers cotton round and watch you makeup  disappear it also removes mascara and all eye makeup in a few swipes. It doesn't leave the skin wet, or with a residue and dries fairly quick. The reason I mention the swisspers cotton round specifically is that I found they do all the jobs better. I had been using a no name brand version but they would disintegrate when wet they just weren't able to go the distance one round would be done after covering very little area and I found I had to use a lot of them to get my makeup off every night. With these swisspers ones they don't fall apart and you there thick enough to be able to have the solution soak through and use both sides of the round.

Maybelline New York Baby Lips Colour in Rose Addict
I know this is a bit de ja vu after last month but I had to include this one. In March I mentioned Berry Crush which adds a rosy red colour to the lips, I had really been enjoying, it was just enough tint and moisture combined really great for work. It was trying to find a second tube I stumbled on Rose Addict this is pink and a lot sheerer than the Berry Crush but great just to put on whenever and I think it gives more moisture to the lips. Really loving both.

Covergirl and Olay Simply Agless Eye Concealer in the shade Light 210
I had posted a photo on instagram of the powder in this range that I had managed to pick up for $10 at Priceline it was recommended to me by Jodi (Goo Roo Beauty/JodiK76 on youtube)I give the concealer a go and after also seeing Mary (aLovetart on youtube) who uses the eye brightener version (I think that's in the states only I don't think Covergirl are realeasing it here :( ) I thought that the next time I saw it on sale I would pick it up. So next time it was on sale at Priceline I picked it up and as tragic as it was to see my instant age rewind concealer finish!! I knew that this was waiting to be used. It is so creamy and blendable with great coverage it just goes on so smooth and hasn't creased once. I do recommend applying with your ring finger and then blending out with a brush even though I was trying to not put my fingers in the pot going in directly with a brush it just applied to heavy and was hard to blend evenly.

Essence metallic effect eye shadow in the shade Party all night 35
This is an eyeshadow I have owned for quite a while I picked it up when essence was first realeased in Australia and I still cannot believe that you could find and eyeshadow of amazing quaility that only cost $2!!! This bronze gold colour with metallic effect means there are no other shadows required. Using just a shader brush apply all over the lid and with a fluffy brush blend out and into the crease. The metallic effect means you get that muti dimensional look without multiple eye shadows and without excess glitter and fallout. It is also great to put jut on the middle of the eyelid to give a subtle matte look a pop of shimmer taking a day look to night!!!

Urban Decay Naked 2
Another palette I have owned for a while and after getting it out of my make up draw mid month I really have rediscovered why I love it so much. My two favorite shades are tease and YDK. Tease is a matte mushroom brown that in a swatch looks like just an aveage pink brown that wouldn't do much but in the crease or to blend out shimmery shades it gives warmth and depth to a look I haven't found another shade can do. YDK is a copper toned shimmer shade that has a silver glitter. This is just the perfect mid tone colour not too gold not too bronze and despite the silver shimmer is still really neutral and wearable.

Chi Chi Glamourous Nudes Eye Shadow Palette
Again de ja vu!!! In my february favorites I had just bought this palette and literally fits inside my makeup bag its always with me and I have not taken it out I keep going back to it again and again its really a so many looks so little time palette and this month I have been using alot of the two matte brown shades they make a great base to any look and also the darker of the two shades really is a perfect crease colour it also has been a great companion to both the essence eyeshadow and the Naked 2 palette.

Prestige My Brow Duo in 01 Highlighter Duo
I picked this up at Target for $5 marked down as my local target is no longer stocking the brand but have seen this before at Priceline. I'm really not into brow products so was never going to use this as a brow highlight I bought it for the matte silk end as I wanted to try lining my water line its not something I usually do but seeing it so many times on youtube I wanted to give it a try. While I haven't perfected the lining I have found this duo is really great if your in a rush or have no energy to open you eye shadow palette and get out your brushes. Using the matte silk end just to highlight the inner corner of the eye and the shimmer gold end just to line directly across the lid it brightens the eyes and with mascara you have a whole look that requires so little effort. Being designed for the brows also means does not crease, smudge and wears all day long. It also has quite sturdy lids which means this is perfect for travel and when your on the go not destroyed pencil in the bottom of the makeup bag!!!

Eve Cosmetics Mineral Matte Blush in the shade Adobe
This is an all natural cosmetics line that I discovered at the end of last year not to sure about the products given all on line I waited till a sale to give a try I bought a couple of blushes as I was looking for some matte and I chose this colour as its quite neutral its a dusty pink that looking at online I thought would be good as a subtle cheek colour. When it arrived and I got to try I realised that applied with a light hand and reasonably fluffy brush it gives a great glow but can also be used as a great contour as well and I do enjoy using a contour brush and creating a noticeable line under my cheek bone then using a second blush to blend out and over the top giving amazing depth and perfect glow.

Love love love all the products I've used this month and as its gone so quick I may take them into next month as well!!! I will keep shopping my stash as I have really enjoyed rediscovering items this month and as the weather gets cooler I feel a few changes to my routine will happen!! Untill next month hope you are well and enjoying your day!!!

Ever.
