Bellabox August and July Review

Hey Readers,

I hope this post finds you well. Another BB has arrived at my door. It does not feel like a whole month since the last box so I was semi surprised to see this arrive but despite that I have tried all the product from last month so I will start by getting into my review.

Klorane Shampoo

This was a great addition to the box for last month and despite the fact I had already tried it and wasn't that excited to see it included it was one of the first things I used out of the box. Having short hair now also meant I got two goes out of the one bottle which is nicer than using nearly a whole sample just for one wash!! As I said previously a decent shampoo, washes well but not the greatest scent.

Klorane Conditioner

This I was very interested to try this one and really enjoyed using it in conjunction with the shampoo. It definitely helped to detangle my hair and left it really soft and smooth but still manageable which I enjoyed.

Physiogel Calming Relief Lotion

OK so I fibbed a little at the start of this post!! I haven't acctually tried this one at all. I have so many lotions on the go at the moment that I couldn't bring myself to open another one I will eventually get to this one I promise!!

Gosh mono eyeshadow
I was really really excited to try this one and before I had even gotten a chance to dip a brush in I had already seen via youtube and read on instagram that this is a slightly disappointing product. I have to admit the first time I tried I wasn't wowed. It went on smooth but I had to build it up to get decent colour payoff but I was determined as I really like the colour. I found the best way is to wet my brush with a bit of makeup setting spray before dipping the brush in it makes for a great eyeliner when paired with an angle brush!!!

Revo Lip Balm
Was exited to try this one as well and I have to say that applying a rounded lipbalm takes a bit to get used too. Its a quite sweet scent too but really moisturising I apply it before I apply my makeup of a morning!!

Baimeni Hydrating Face and Eye Serum
This was a bit off a miss product for me. Not only is it really hard to get the lid off the bottle the product itself was quite runny making it hard to apply easily and I also found that a few drops didn't really go a long way and I don't really see a difference in my skin.

OK so onto August BB and this box comes with the theme Complexion Perfection Be you Be flawless!! So lets get into whats inside.....

EM Cosmetics The Great Cover Up Ultimate Concealer  received the shade Light Warm 9ml
This is the hero product to the box this month, not only did we receive an email from BB saying all subscribers would get one we also where invited to have the option to choose our shade. I was excited to try but missed out on choosing my shade but given the hype saying that this concealer lends itself to being a multi purpose product (concealer, contour etc) I wasn't fussed. This brand is the creation of  youtuber Michelle Phan and I have to say I hadn't heard of her or the brand until now!! The concealer apparently is light weight, blends easily and leaves a natural finish. I received the shade Light Warm which while I haven't tried I feel may be a decent match. Excited to try!!!

Avene Tolerance Extreme Cream received a sample 5ml full size is 50ml.
This cream is said to deliver long lasting protection, hydration and nutrients to the skin. Not super excited to see another Avene sample but nonetheless happy to try.

Avene Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion received a sample 5ml full size is 50ml
This is the light weight facial cleanser to this range that helps to protect the skins natural barrier soothing redness, tightness and itching. Happy to try this in conjunction with the cream.

Nivea Cream Fairy Tales Edition received a full size 150ml
This is nivea's much loved rich cream all over body moisturiser just in limited edition packaging. Am happy to see this included loving the packaging!!! But as I said previously have so many body moisturisers on the go at the moment that it will be a bit of time before I get to this one.

JAK Organics Face Wipes received a full size pack of 25
These face wipes are infused with rosehip and coconut oil, they are 100% natural and say they will hydrate, nourish and moisturise.  Always love a good face wipe so happy to see these included and give them a try.

Alpha Keri Body Slimfit Bust Lift and Firm Cream and Alpha Keri Body Slimfit Heat Activating Slimming and Firming Serum received a 5ml sample of each full size are 200ml.
This is the bonus sample to the box this month. The bust lift and firm cream claims it will act as an invisible bra allowing you to achieve a firmer, fuller bust. While the Heat Activating Slimming and Firming Serum says it will help to reduce fat accumulation from the waist, tummy, hips and thighs. I am not too sure about the claims for these products and to be honest I don't feel I really need products like these but at the end of the day probably best to try a sample size first!!

Ok so that ends BB for August. If I am really honest, while all the samples I have received reflect the theme this month I am not really wowed by what I have received. There are a lot of creams/lotions/serums included. I would have like to see more variety here and maybe some more makeup!!! But I guess that is the luck of the draw. I will try and give you my thoughts next month!! Until then happy reading and happy shopping!!!

Priceline Online and 40% off Skincare haul!!!

Hey Readers,
I hope this post finds you well!! Recently Priceline had a 3 day 40% off skincare sale and for anyone that knows this is the time to pick up back ups of favourites but also an opportunity to pick up those more expensive skin care items for less or items you've been wanting to try for a long time!! So today I thought I would share not only what I picked up but also my online experience.

Buying Online My Experience.

I found out about this one via Instagram on a Saturday and was actually already going to Priceline so had a look at a few items while I was there. My local store already had tags out saying that there was going to be sale which I have never seen before but great idea on Pricelines part I feel.  I made a small list while I was there of things that I wanted to pick up.
The sale started on a Tuesday so my original plan was that I would go to Priceline in the afternoon after work but alas Monday made me realise that I was on a late shift at work meaning I wouldn't make it to Priceline before closing and the Wednesday I had an afternoon appointment. So my only thought was that if I really wanted to get something I had to shop online. Now I love online shopping don't get me wrong but with Priceline I love going in, picking up items and taking them home straight away to try but this was the way it was going to be. Monday night I logged onto the Priceline site and created a wishlist of all the items I wanted/wanted to try. I am so glad I thought of this not only did it make purchasing quicker, It did actually take me a while to find all the items that I wanted I usually so visual when I purchase so actually having to know brands and names specifically of items is a little harder. I also usually love finding different items when I am instore and on the site you get this to a point when you search by category which is how I actually found I few items I bought. Adding everything to your cart also makes it easy to total everything (free shipping over $100) as well as purchase the next day!! I ordered on the Tuesday and despite a warning on site that deliveres could be delayed my order arrived the next Monday. There was also an item that I ordered that wasn't available and the refund was processed pretty much straight away. Overall I was pretty impressed with the process everything also came packaged tight with bubble wrap and tissue paper.

40% off Skincare Haul!!
OK so onto the good stuff!!! What I picked up and why!!

The back ups/Old Favourites/Repurchases

Milk Beauty Wipes 25pk
I love these wipes and picking up a couple of back ups at 40% off really was a no brainer. So easy to use and get all my makeup off at the end of a long day!! The smooth side is perfect for getting off all your makeup and textured side perfect for getting build up off from around the nose and forehead, and product out of you eyebrows!!

Formula 10.0.6 Three Times Sublime 100ml
Another much loved product being a wash scrub and mask all in the one product is just perfect for me not only is it a time saver its also and amazing product. The right amount of cleanser to scrub it works well and smells amazing. I also do enjoy using it as a mask it draws out impurities and leaves skin feeling soft. I also am close to finishing my current tube so perfect time for repurchase.

Avene cleance Mat Mattifying Emulsion 40ml
For the longest time I have been switching between this and the Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Moisturiser but as I already have a back up for that I decided to pick this up this time around. It also is on the more expensive side so if it hadn't have been 40% off I probably wouldn't have purchased again. Its a cross between a cream and a gel which goes on smooth and absorbs so quick I love it pre application of foundation definitely helps keep me mattified.

The Newbies/things I wanted to try!!

Cetaphil Oil Control Foam Wash 236ml
Being an oily combo girl I am always on the lookout for products that help keep oil at bay. Now I know this is designed for acne prone skin (which I don't have) but I liked the idea of something that is gentle on the skin but still removes oil.

Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser 200ml
After watching a video posted by Mel from Tango2+ where she raved about this product I really wanted to try. I had looked at this a couple of times before and what I had never realised is that its a makeup remover and cleanser in one and I have been looking for a product like this recently interested to see what its like.

Moreish Superfood for the Skin Anew Exfoliator 75ml
This I found when searching the categories section of the Priceline website. I have been looking for exfoliators that use natural exfoliators over microbeads and this caught my eye it contains Argan, Kiwifruit and Jojoba it also comes in a tube which I thought looked interesting.

Moreish Superfood for the Skin Euphoria Cream Cleanser
I saw this after I had chosen the exfoliator. I liked the idea of trying a cleanser and exfoliator from the same line. I also am interested to see what an oil based cleanser is like it does contain Argan, Moroccan and Almond oils it also says it removes makeup as well.

Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner 30ml
This was the most expensive item I purchased and I say that simply because I also am taking a huge chance on that this is going to be good. That sound harsh I know and don't get me wrong I like bioderma their products are great but they are on the more expensive side and for me $21 is a lot of money for a product that I saw randomly on the shelf and had seen no other information about. Using a patent technology this product says it will regulate sebum and prevent pores clogging refining texture and improving apperance making pores less visible. Hiding pores is definitely high on my list when it comes to imperfections on my face and despite the fact that many of these products I don't always feel work that well curiosity got the better of me and I want to see if this works.

Burts Bees  Moisturising Lip Balm in Coconut and Pear and Vanilla Bean
I already own this lip balm in pink grapefruit which I have been loving and I wanted to try another flavour to see if they are just as good. There are two reasons I got two!! One I wanted to try the coconut pear as I liked the idea of a pear scented lip balm but I don't really love coconut and it was between this and vanilla bean which is a flavour which I always enjoy. The second reason was I was needing to get over the $100 dollar mark for free shipping!!!

So that ends this Priceline Online and 40% Skin care Haul I hope you enjoyed it. If there is ever a time you can't get to priceline when they have a sale (or any time at all) I recommend shopping online. Until next time happy reading and happy shopping.

Everlynne.

***Please note: All products where purchased with my own money. All items purchased were of my own choice and opinions and thoughts expressed are all my own. This post is not sponsored in any way.***

Maslow and Co East Coast USA

Hey Readers,
I hope this post finds you well. This week I have had another edition of Maslow and Co arrive at my door (my husband literally found this stuffed under the door mat!!!). This box is the second of the USA editions and this time we find ourselves on the east coast with New York city's hustle and bustle the inspiration for all the products inside. I have to say that I did expect this edition to have a little bit more makeup included so its a little disappointing there is only one makeup item but nonetheless we have received some interesting products. So lets get started!!!!

Stilks Cosmetiks Lipsick in the shade Red full size

This lipstick is the combination of beauty and functionality. Designed to be able to be applied one handed with a lid that is attached to the tube so there is no chance of it coming loose the lipstick inside or loosing the cap altogether. But also  has a one click twist up tube so its easy to dispense and retract product. Red is medium deep in colour and definitely looks bold in the tube swatched it does look like a blue based red will be interesting to see what its like on the lips.

Dermadoctor Kakadu C Intensive Vitamin C Peel Pad received a sample pack of 3 full size is 30.
These are pre soaked pads that are designed to remove dead skin cells and promote the regeneration of new skin cells,  leaving skin looking fresh and bright. Unlike a usual skin peel these pads the do everything instantly in one swipe and they are gentle enough to use daily.  Have never tried a skin peel before so interested to try what seems to be a fast and effective version I have a few areas on my face that would benefit from these.

Eir NYC Active Body Wash 236ml full size
This active body wash blends skin and body care together. Said to be both antiseptic and revitalizing restoring both moisture and balance to the skin. Rosemary and sage detoxify. With olive, coconut and jojoba oil blended to hydrate. This has a gorgeous smell and I cannot wait to try it out. Its also a little bit more on the expensive side to what I pay for a body wash so interested to see how a higher end shower product performs.

Eir NYC Fresh Eir Deoderizer 59ml full size
This is a three in one deoderizer, sanitizer and refresher spray that combines witch hazel, aloe and sage to eliminate odor, refresh the air and sanitize. It can be used both on the skin as well as items such as shoes and bags. An interesting product to be included in this box not sure how it fits the theme or how much I will use a product like this but will give it a try.

Mullein and Sparrow Lemon grass and Mint Body Oil 30ml full size
Combining lemon grass and mint for an uplifting and revitalising experience post shower.
Interested to try this one it has been a long time since I've used a body oil the smell is quite fresh and minty!!!

Essential Apothecary Bright Toothpaste 45ml full sizeThis is an all natural and traditional toothpaste that focuses on getting back to basics. Ditching harsh chemicals and harnessing the powers of essential oils and ingredients. Said to be brighten and polish teeth, heal gums and neutralise odour. Another interesting inclusion to this box as its probably not something I would pick up myself. An all natural toothpaste is something that I feel is a bit of an acquired taste and I think will take me a bit to get used to. It has quite a strong clove and cinnamon scent so will be interesting to try.

Mauli Rituals Grow Strong Hair Oil received a 15 ml sample size full size is 30ml
This was not included in the little booklet that arrived with my box so I can only assume that it just has been left out at the time of printing or I have gained a bonus sample somehow!?!?!?

This hair oil says it will activate follicles at a cellular level as it contains potent antioxidants and growth stimulants. Herbs and oils combine to thicken and nourish hair growth. Interested to try this one my hair could use with some TLC.

So that ends the East Coast USA edition. I have to say that despite the expectation that this box would contain more cosmetic items I am interested to try what I have received in this edition. Overall I am really enjoying that this box is comprised of products that are slightly different to the usual beauty box fair and we are introduced to things we otherwise may never be able to sample or not be game enough to try!! If you want to subscribe or learn more visit https://www.maslowandco.com.au/

So until next time Happy Reading and Happy shopping.

Mascara Madness #14

Hey Readers,
I hope this post finds you well. This week I am back again with another Mascara Madness post. I have not posted one of these in a while and I have to say that my collection of mascaras to talk about has really piled up. I've had a lot of trials and tribulations with mascara over the last five months so while I have some loves, I also have a few loosers in the mix as well. As usual I will compare the pitch to the reality to each of these mascaras so lets get to it!!!

Photo Finish Colour Lash Back in Black
The Pitch: There isn't one!! This is a brand that I have only found in Target stores and with its price tag of $2 I picked it up on a whim thinking that I might find a good product for under the price that a mascara generally goes for!!!

The Reality: Its a decent mascara, definitely defines the lashes and lengthens but the wand its quite tricky to use. A straight brush with ball like end does take a little bit of effort to work through the lashes, at the same time though the end is perfect for getting inner and out corner lashes as well as being good for the lower lash line. The only downer is that I did find this one flaked a little throughout the day which is never a good thing.

Daisio Volume up Mascara
The Pitch: No Pitch available with this one either and once again a mascara that is lower in price that what you usually pay.

The Reality: This is a great mascara for when you want defined lashes but you want a natural look. It defines without making it look like you've got mascara on really (think your lashes but better!!!) Great for a minimal makeup day or when you want defined lashes but don't want to take away from your eyeshadow look. And with a price tag of $3.60 such a good buy!!!

Australis Lash TLC Tender Loving Care Conditioning Mascara
The Pitch: Australis Lash TLC Conditioning Mascara provides enviably lush-looking lashes, and contains ingredients that help protect and nourish the delicate hairs growing from your lids. Vitamin E protects lashes against free radical damage, while Vitamin B5 nourishes and conditions lashes so you can fight breakage and reach lengths, heights and a curl-factor you never before thought possible. The inclusion of silk powder gives you softness and aids in fine texture for naturally full, delicate and long-looking lashes.

The Reality: Beautifully defined and full lashes that enhanced look but still natural and the colour is such a dark black that it almost gives the illusion of liner on the lash line. Now sadly i have recently discovered that Australis has discontinued this mascara :( which is disappointing hopefully they will bring out something just as good in the future.

Maybelline the Colossal Mascara Volum Epress Cat Eyes.
The Pitch: Now colossal volume gets a feline edge: Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Cat Eyes' collagen formula and Claw Brush plump and spike out lashes at the corners for a wild cat eye look.

The Reality: Honesty I prefer the original version of this mascara. This one just did not wow me. While wand is slim line and really allows you to get to the bottom of the lashes and pushes them up as it goes and also is great for the bottom lashes. I just found the formula a little sticky and also found that apply two coats and it started to clump my lashes. I also don't feel it gives my lashes any volume at all.

Mirenesse Secret Weapon Mascara Super Long
The Pitch: The Holy Grail of Mascara formulas! No More Panda Eyes! Now with extra fibres for extra length! A revolutionary breakthrough, the Award Winning Secret Weapon 24 Hr Mascara targets each individual lash by forming unique tubes of colour to amazingly lengthen, and thicken your lashes!

The Reality: I love the original formula of this mascara so I had really high hopes for this one. The brush itself is tapered which makes it really easy to apply this one and it does give great definition. But I don't feel I get the length and thickening that it promises it also can get a little sticky and clumpy with too many coats.

Maybelline The Colossal Volum Express Go Extreme Leather Black
The Pitch:  Our first mascara with a superloading wand adds an extra shot of volume onto our biggest brush for Bold, Leather Black intensity!

The Reality: This is a great mascara for instant volume and dark black lashes. It gives great definition lashes look full and fluttery the wand while tapered is quite large so while its easy to catch top lashes the bottom ones are a little harder. The formula is quite thick so its not an easy mascara to work with if you want to layer up. It does take a little bit to dry apart from that a decent version in this line.

 Maybelline Great Lash Big
The Pitch:  Bigger brush for great big live-it-up lashes! The Great BIG Brush plus volume-building formula gives great BIG lashes. Volume builds with each coat - no clumps or globs

The Reality: I agree with the fact that it gives your lashes volume and the brush definetly pushes your lashes up for great definition. The Black colour is also really dark great for defining even when your not wearing liner. It does build ok but I wouldn't say without clumps or globs or flakes (sorry not in the pitch but had to add in). I really only got two coats before I could see excess product on my lashes and there were some days that if I tried to apply this too quick it would clump my lashes straight away.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Waterproof
The Pitch: Rimmel Scandal Eyes Retroglam Mascara that plumps and curves lashes for an eyeconic 60's look! The hourglass brush is shaped to the lash line, pushing lashes up and out to create a bold, wide-eyed look.

The Reality: I really love the wand despite being quite large it was really easy to work with and it really gives great definition. My lashes always looked full and fluttery. Like most waterproof mascaras it was a little harder to get off but I love the look it gives you lashes.

So that ends another mascara madness. I hope you have enjoyed the read and it wasn't too long a post!! If you are shopping for a new mascara I hope this helps your choice. If there are any mascaras you want my to try and review or there is a mascara you want to recommend me to try please comment on this post or over on my Instragram or Facebook.

Until next time Happy reading and Happy Shopping!!!

Everlynne.

Bellabox July and June Review.

Hey Readers,
I hope this post finds you well. Today I am here with another BB and this post is a little late going up as I actually received this box last week but didn't get a chance to write this post until this week so without prolonging this too much further I will get into the review for June's box then show you what I received for July.

Your Tea Skin Magic Tea.
As I said in my original post I am not a tea drinker. My other half did give it a try though. He said it has an ok taste and wouldn't be something he would probably purchase.

Neutrogena Hyrdro Boost Water Gel
If youv'e seen my 13 by Halloween post you will know that this is my first sample to be used up. I do like this moisturiser its really hydrating and seems perfect for this time of year when you want something a little denser for the cooler months but at the same time doesn't feel heavy. The only reason I don't buy the full size is it comes in a tub which is quite bulky and hard for travel.

Dermal Therapy Lip Balm
This is an interesting balm. At first it was like putting on the good old Vaseline lip balms in the squeezy tube but then the tingle I usually get from a carmex lip balm kicked in took a little bit to get used to but overall have really enjoyed this one. Its hydrating and it definetly helps keep dry chapped lips away.

Mizon Tone up Sheet Mask
As I said in my original post I wasn't impressed with recieving this. This one went to a friend who will appreciate it more than me.

Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing wipes
Still love these,  great thing for on the go and travel. Lend themselves to pretty much anything. They are so gentle on the skin and don't leave residue.

Magnetix Nail Polish
Didn't really get the magnetising part of this right but I love the gold colour and it was fairly long lasting.

So now onto July BB. July's box comes with the theme back to basics and I have to say most of the products included do reflect the theme. so lets get into it!!!

Klorane Shampoo with Quinine and B Vitamins received a 25ml sample size full size is 200ml.
This shampoo is formulated to promote strength, restore thickness and maintain healthy growth. As much as I know this shampoo is a decent one not that excited to see it included as I have already received a sample of this in a recent edition of the parcel.

Klorane Conditioner with Quinine and B Vitamins received a 10ml sachet size full size is 250ml
This is the conditioner to the Klorane Shampoo and once again infused with Quinine and B Vitamins to strengthen and detangle. I used to use the nourishing and untangling  conditioning balm in this line so happy to give another version of this a try.

Physiogel Calming Relief Lotion received a 50ml full size tube.
This lotion is light weight and fast absorbing and it contains a complex of skin smoothing and replenishing lipids to relieve dry and irritated skin. Interested to try this one out while I don't have sensitive skin myself a product that relieves dryness and irritation and that can be used all over the body is really appealing.

Gosh Mono Eyeshadow recieved one in the shade 016 Aubergine
These eyeshadows are said to have a smooth texture and be beautifully pigmented. Aubergine is a dark purple that has a slight shimmer running through it. Really happy to see a makeup item included in this box and cannot wait to try this one.

Revo Lip Balms received one in the scent Tangerine
This sweet smelling lip balm combines aloe and vitamin E to condition and moisturise the lips. This compact balm is also small enough to fit into any handbag pocket!! I have not tried a round lip balm like this before so interested to give this a try also the bright packaging will be easy to find in any bag!!!

Baimeni Hydrating Eye and Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid received a 3ml sample size full size is 30ml.
This hydrating eye and face serum not only hydrates, rejuvenate and replenish the skin it also helps to control excess oil. Interested to try this one I like the idea of a product that multitasks.

So that ends the box for July. Happy with whats included and interested to try mostly everything I have received.  Will give you my thoughts next month. Until then Happy reading and Happy shopping.

Everlynne.

13 By Halloween Roulette!!!

Hey Everyone,

Hope this post finds you well. Today post is inspired by a Youtube video I watched recently ( Finish 13 by Halloween 13)  posted by Mary Lovetart. 13 by Halloween Roulette is a quirky take on the traditional project pan. There are 52 categories and using a random number generator such as Random.org. 13 of these become the basis of the products you choose to use up, with the goal being they are finished by Halloween (31 st October). I just instantly loved this idea. Not only do I love shopping my stash I also have had a box of items from a recent de clutter that I hadn't quite worked out what to do with. I am also a person that constantly changes my makeup mind so I am interested to see if I can finally finish something!!!!

1. #28 Blush

My blush collection is a whole draw and it was one I recently decluttered as the draw was getting hard to close!! So I did turn to my box of de clutter products for this one. Its a box full of items that don't quite work for me but for some reason or another I keep them in my collection. This blush is the perfect example of that. I bought it for the same reason I can't let it go the heart patterns in the blush itself. If you haven't guessed already I'm talking about the Physicans Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Blush. Beautiful packaging and the heart shapes are just so gorgeous but the shade Natural is just that natural. It gives a subtle glow and little something to the cheeks but it really doesn't do a lot for me. I really do prefer a pop of colour to the cheeks and its the reason I don't really reach for it. But I'd like to find a use for it so that is why I include it and I am also interested to see if I can make a dent in it as I find Physicans formula products can be a little never ending!!!

2. #25 Something in a Stick/Tube

I originally thought it would be hard to choose just one product but this item was the first thing I picked up and it is perfect. Bloom Foundation Stick in Base Three I have a love hate relationship with this one. Well more hate than love if I'm completely honest. I love it because its the first sick foundation I have found that applies and blends easily, the stick is also perfect when you want extra coverage to the spot areas. But sadly it just doesn't give me a full days wear even with powder over the top. It has a tendency to disappear and sometimes go a little patchy. But I want to use it up so perfect for this project!!

3. #34 Something Shimmery

For this one it was a case of so many products so little time!! But highlighter was the first thing I thought of when I read this category. I picked this one up as it has been sitting in the back of my draw for the longest time and I know I don't use highlighter reguarly but at the same time I don't really know why I don't reach for this one. Physicans Formula powder palette Mineral Glow Pearls in the shade Beige Pearl. In the pan it looks like a bronzer and highlighter in one but swatched its more of a gold toned highlight. Interested to get more use out of it.

4. #19 Matte Lip Product

In my recent de clutter most of my lip products were discarded as I never wear them and for hygiene reasons I couldn't really find them a better home. So this is the closest I come to a matte lip product. One of the only lipsticks that survived the cull. Savvy by db Lipstick in the shade Nude its not matte but it doesn't have a lot of gloss either its a slight sheen and I only kept it as I actually reach for it when I want to wear something either than balm.

5. #43 A Neutral Coloured Item

I'm not sure what made me pick this product up for this one but it is perfect for this category. e.l.f Mineral Eyeshadow Primer in the shade Sheer. This is definitely a product I need to make more use of. I am terrible when it comes to applying a primer before eyeshadow. But then find myself disappointed when shadows have moved or faded throughout the day!!! Sheer has a slight pick undertone but still makes for a great neutral base.

6. #30 Nail Polish

I was so happy to get this one. I've never really finished a lot of products but I don't think I have ever come close to finishing a bottle of nail polish. This is also a current obsession for me and I have never been a huge nail polish wearer. Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish in the shade 345 Black Cherries its a beautiful deep purple that I am loving the perfect winter colour!!!

7. #40 Sample Product

Again so many products so little time with this one and given we are talking sample products that I am going to try and set an extra challenge of trying to finish as many samples as I can in this time. But the first on I am going to start with is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost this was literally the most recent product I have received in sample size so I thought it a perfect one to start me off.

8. #37 Maybelline Item

At first I reached for my age rewind concealer but I thought that was too easy particuarly given its already in my makeup bag. So instead I am going to try the Super Stay Better Skin Skin Perfecting Concealer in the shade Medium. I bought this when I bought a bottle of super stay foundation and while I liked this better than the foundation it never became a concealer I have reached for. Interested to see how I go using this over the age rewind!!

9. #14 Something I have already hit pan on
I change my makeup mind so often that I don't hit pan on too many things so this compact is the only thing I found that has seen that much love. Youngblood Pressed Mineral Foundation in the shade Neutral. A little while ago I went through a mineral makeup  phase and Youngblood was my brand of choice their loose powder foundation is gorgeous and I used it and still use it a lot for special occasions but when it came to touch ups a tub of loose powder and fluffy brush just doesn't work in a small clutch. This compact is slim line and perfect for on the go, it has a mirror and small space for a sponge which isn't my preferred application but it works when going to an event. Neutral also means I can pair it with any foundation I am wearing at the time.

10. #47 Lip Gloss

This was kinda an easy one not only have I not got that many lip products but I wore this to death a couple of months ago but after a weekend trip away I realised I had lost the tube. The next time I saw it on special I picked it up then promptly found the original in a pocket of my travel bag. So with two I can certainly afford to use one.  Max Factor Colour Intensifying Lip Balm in 40 Exquisite Caramel this is a gorgeous easy to wear balm that has a good amount of colour and a good amount of gloss to it without the stickyness.

11. #21 Something you regret purchasing

Models Prefer Rose Nude 10 Shade Eyeshadow Palette I find this hard to write about I enjoy so many products from this brand and this just isn't the palette I thought it would be. I bought it as a trial palette as I really wanted to give rose toned shadows a try and I chose this over others as one I hadn't tried shadows from models prefer before and two it has a mix of matte, shimmer and glitter shades. Overall the quality is decent and as a beginners palette easy to work with but they just don't have the pigmentation I was looking for. The colours when swatched on your hand don't really transfer to the eyes. I also find that there is a lot of fall out and its not just the shimmer shades and there always seem to also be a little bit of powder kicked up when you  dip you brush into the pans as well. At the end of the day though I have always picked it up again and again due to the fact I enjoy this brand and want to try more looks with these shades.

12. #45 Skin care Item

I originally drew #32 Nail Strips I don't actually own any of these. The last set I received in a beauty box I gave away. So I re drew another number. For #45 I have chosen MOR Orange Blossom Hand Cream this I opened last Winter and given its got an 18 month open expiry so its probably best I use it up. The scent is beautiful and the hand cream itself is moisturising I just have to remember to apply it!!

13. #27 Matte Product
Out of all the categories I drew this was probably easiest to find a product for. Being oily and oily combo girl I own a lot of matte products so it was hard to settle on one but this was at the top of my list. Avene Cleance MAT Mattifying Emulsion. This has been a long time favourite but like the amount of times I change my makeup I am often trying new skin care. There is probably half a tube left so probably should finish it off.

So that ends my 13 by Halloween Project Pan Roulette draw. I am interested to see how many products I can finish. I will come back in October to tell you how I went. I will also put the numbers and categories if you too want to give this a try. Let me know if you do.

Until then happy reading and happy shopping.

Everlynne.
