I hope this post finds you well!! This week I have received the newest edition of Maslow and Co. I was really excited to see this box arrive as Maslow and Co announced early in the year that they had decided to repeat a country that they already sourced a box worth of products from and what better place to create a 2.0 box from but the originating country Australia. As I never received the first edition of this box I was very excited to receive this one!!! So lets get to it...
Rohr Remedy Australian Wildflower Deodorant received a 30ml full size.
This all natural deodorant fuses both nature and science to produce a beautifully crafted deodorant that combines wildflower essential oils that contain antibacterial and deodorising properties. Interested to try this one as I have never tried and all natural deodorant before will be nice to try something free from all those nasties.
Original Mineral Know Knott Detangler received a 50ml deluxe travel size
This hair styling spray is based on cold pressed argan and macadmia oils that combined help to keep hair glossy and tangle free. I don't really require hair products like this so I may gift this to a friend who I know would benefit more.
Vida Glow Mango Marine Collagen received 12 sachets full size is 30.
These sachets are designed to replace the collagen naturally lost by the aging process. Mixed with water or added to your favourite smoothie these help to restore the building blocks for lustrous hair, radiant skin and strong nails. Not sure about these ones i am not usually a supplement taker. But its something a little bit different to obtain beautiful hair, skin and nails.
Luma by Jess Hart illuminating Highligher in the shade Rose Gold received a full size
This rose toned highlight is formulated to glide on smoothly, be quick drying and leave skin with a natural luminous finish. Love a makeup product inclusion and while I was not impressed with the last item of Luma I received (from a different beauty box) I am still interested to a different product from the range.
Sea2Skin Active Hydration Mask received a 75g full size.
This deeply hydrating and nourishing mask is rich with sea botanicals and marine collagen to revive dull skin cells, resurface and smooth the skin. Natural hyaluronic acid and rose hip oil work to hydrate and rejuvenate. But with up enough product for 10 masks I might just have to share.
StevieK Creme Lipstick in the shade Bee
This lipstick straight from the Shout 'n' Pout collection. Bee is a dusty rose shade that is highly saturated and perfectly pigmented. Infused with Jojoba, Evening Primrose and Sweet almond it also nourishes the lips. Very happy to have received a wearable shade interested to give this one a try.

Today I am here with an iHerb.com haul well I probably should title this e.l.f haul as I was recently browsing the iHerb website and found that they had a number of products from e.l.f (eyes lips face) that I have been thinking about purchasing for a while. Prices are reasonable and shipping had been reduced so I picked up a few things. This haul is a mix of skincare, makeup and makeup brushes.
e.l.f Exfoliating Scrub
This exfoliating scrub says it will gently polish away dead skin cells. Its infused with purified water and vitamin E for a hydration leaving skin smooth and looking luminous.
I picked this up after seeing it in a few instagram posts to be honest the packaging caught my eye over anything else really but I also love to try new face scrubs so I thought I would give it a try.
e.l.f Poreless Primer
This multipurpose primer preps your skin for long lasting makeup and leaves a matte finish to the skin. Its unique formula helps to reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines. Infused with Vitamin A, E and tea tree. I am constantly on the look out for primers that keep one matte and poreless. As I often have mixed success with these primers I primarily bought this one as the price is less than picking it up at Kmart.
e.l.f Small Stipple Brush
This brush has a unique double layer bristle design that offers both a sheer or full coverage airbrush foundation effect. I picked this up as I have been using my chi chi small stipple brush a lot and I wanted to try another version. I am hoping its as good I really enjoy these brushes for liquid foundation and concealer.
e.l.f Pointed Foundation Brush
This Tapered brush allows for precision application of foundation leaving a streak free flawless look. I picked this up as I don't actually own a brush like this and when I had my makeup done professionally last year the makeup artist used a brush similar to this and I really liked the finish.
e.l.f Ultimate Blending Brush
This large dome brush with densely packed bristles to allow even coverage and seamless application of foundation. Out of all the brushes that I purchased this was the one I was most excited to try. I really am loving this type of foundation brush at the moment the soft dence bristles just applies foundation easily and flawlessly.
e.l.f Contouring Brush
With densely packed hair and structured shape allows you to achieve flawless dimensions along the cheekbones, forehead and jawline. I have been really into contouring at the moment and I often use other versions of this type of brush so I thought I'd pick up this and give it a try.
e.l.f Blending Brush
This soft brush is densely packed that is designed to create a streak free, airbrushed coverage for an undetectable finish. I originally bought this for application of powder products but I am interested to see what its like for cream and liquid products.
e.l.f Daily Brush Cleaner
An Antibacterial brush cleanser for cleaning brushes in between makeup application. I bought this simply to give it a try as I have never used a brush cleanser before.
e.l.f Blush Palette in Light
Four blush shades that not only allow you to mix and match custom colours all year round but also offering a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. While I have to admit that at the moment I only feel that I will use two out of the four shades but I am willing to try the others and see what this whole palette is like.
e.l.f Contour Palette
With four shades three matte and one shimmer this palette allows you to shade, sculpt, brighten and highlight. Both contour shades are matte and highlighting shades are one matte and one shimmer. Really interested to try this one out.
EcoTools Makeup Brush Shampoo
In contrast to all the e.l.f products I had to purchase another bottle of this makeup brush shampoo. This makeup brush shampoo is so easy to use and makes light work of washing brushes. Even the most in grained foundation or over used brushes are easily washed clean. I really enjoy using this one and as my current one is nearly finished I had to pick up a back up!!

I hope this post finds you well. Today I am here with another mascara madness post. Now I know I have only recently done a post like this at the end of last year but since then I have been trying so many mascaras that I thought I better write another one!! As usual I will compare the advertising pitch to the reality of how these mascaras performed so lets get started...
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Reloaded
The Pitch: Rimmel London Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara is everything you need for unstoppable volume. Now with a new formula and max density brush that gives extreme volume and wear for up to 24HR impact that's easy to remove with warm water.
The Reality: I was excited to try this one as I was looking for a mascara with
that would give me decent volume but I really wanted to skip the odd shaped brush that usually comes with a Rimmel mascara. I am a big fan in general of a tapered conical brush and I enjoyed that from the first go. Volume wise it definitely delivers and it gives amazing definition to both upper and lower lashes and it layers better than most of the other Rimmel mascaras I have tried. I do find however it is a wetter formula so don't blink quickly post application!!!
Rimmel Extra 3D Lash
The Pitch: Volumizing, defining and lengthening mascara,Volumizes even the smallest lashes, Defines lashes from corner to corner, 3D brush captures, coats and lifts every lash .
The Reality: My first thought when I picked this up was that it was pitching it was going to give me va va voom lashes or a falsies effect but the reality is quite the opposite. The rubber brush with short bristles delivers a more your lashes but better look and I have really been enjoying it for that. You get the best of all the worlds. Definition, volume and length. It also layers well and the short bristled rubber brush is great for catching not only the inner corner lashes but shorter lower lashes as well.
Revlon Dramatic Definition
The Pitch: Smooth, flexible formula coats lashes for clump-free separation, Revlon Lash Separator Brush sports tiered bristles for defining and separating every lash.
The Reality: This mascara does pretty much what it says it will. You get an easy to apply mascara that gives you defined and clump free lashes. But I have to say for a Revlon mascara I am a little disappointed. With the title of dramatic definition I expected a bit more wow factor I really thought I would be getting beautifully defined, lengthened, fanned out and fluttery lashes but with this the results are really just a my lashes with mascara result.
Buxom Vanity Lash Mascara Show off Black Full and Fabulous
The Pitch: A mascara that volumizes lashes to their maximum potential for full, stand-out eyelashes. With a brush that powers through lashes for lavish fullness from roots to ends.
The Reality: This mascara and brush combination is the best for what I like to call va va voom lashes. It gives amazing definition to your lashes making the look fuller, fanning them out leaving them fluttery. It definitely leaves you with a bolder lash look but I have really enjoyed that about this one!!

I hope this post finds you well. My first BB for 2017 has arrived and I have to say I was happy to see it arrive particularly given I was having a rough week at work!!! This box comes with the theme Beauty Resolutions and we really have received some interesting products. So lets get to it....
BB Summer Shimmer Trio in the shade Nymph
This is BB's very own edition of a cream all purpose highlighters said to delivery instant illumination to the eyes, cheeks and lips. Interested to try these the golden tones are right up my ally particularly for my eyes and I think the lighter pink will be great for the tops of the cheeks.
Cetaphil suntivity SPF50 Liposomal Lotion received a 10ml deluxe sample full size is 100ml
This sunscreen is formulated with Liposomal technology which spread UV across uneven surfaces to provide maximum protection from the harsh sun. I am really interested to try this one its not one I have tried before and I always seem to enjoy products from Cetaphil.
Palmolive Oil Infusions Body Moisturiser
This non greasy hydrating moisturiser is part of the newest range from Palmolive that are all infused with essential oils and botanical extracts. Have been interested to try some of this range for a while now and this citrus and jojoba oil has a great scent.
Klorane Shampoo with Chamomile recieved a 25ml deluxe sample full size is 200ml
Free from paraben and silicones this shampoo is infused with chamomile to provide gentle cleansing and leave your hair luminous, soft and easy to style. actually quite happy to see this included usually we receive the original version of this shampoo so its nice to see and get to try another version.
John Frieda 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment recieved a deluxe 30ml sample full size is 118ml
This semi permanent treatment is light weight and allows you to unlock luscious and voluminous locks all in one easy step. What I am liking about this is its and in shower treatment I often forget to put post treatments in my hair once I am out of the shower so happy to give this a try and see how much volume it gives to my hair.
So that ends January's BB. While I have to say that I am not disappointed with what I have received this month. I would have liked a few more wow products. This box overall does feel a little basic but nonetheless happy with what has arrived and interested to try everything out!! I will hopefully be able to get back into reviewing each box every month again but as usual I will save that till the next box arrives!! Until then happy reading and happy shopping!!

I hope this post finds you well!!! Looking back over my year of posts 2016 wasn't the best for posts solely dedicated to my favourite products. Which is odd as these are some of the ones that I enjoy writing the most. Yes I have completed the Ride or Die tag and have written about my favourite brushes but overall this year there was very little month to month in the moment favourites. So I thought it was worth putting together a post telling you all about the products I have loved for all of 2016 some I have mentioned before (again and again and again) and some I will talk about for the first time but overall they have seen me through the good times and bad that was 2016.
So lets get started.....
Rimmel #Insta Flawless 006 Light Medium
This I discovered almost as soon as it came out into Priceline stores and I really only picked it up as Rimmel was 30% off (I think) at the time. It was a product I hadn't seen a lot of talk about but one that I thought might get a lot of hype simply because of the name. As I have said a few times (read thousand) before I am not sure how this does what it does but it does it. Using it under makeup almost as a primer really, I find it gives a gorgeous finish to your makeup a really natural glow from within and no glitter or shimmer particles in sight. While I don't feel its super hydrating as stated on the packaging it doesn't dry out my skin which I do sometimes find (despite being combination) with products that contain an SPF factor. This comes in two shades and light medium and a medium dark while the later is a little to deep in colour I have managed to make it work but interestingly it doesn't give the same glowyness as the light. So overall I have not only used this for most of the year I also have repurchased it!!
Loreal Infallible 24h Matte 22 Radiant Beige
2016 certainly has gone quick as I can honestly say that I had no idea I have literally been using this foundation all year!! For some reason I still feel like its a new find but I love it and its defintley been a product Iv'e picked up again and again. Initially while I loved the longevity of this foundation and how it never reacted with this skin it was a little too matte so I preferred mixing this with glower foundations and I certainly still prefer it with the Insta flawless underneath but I also have worn it a bit on its own and I find in a light layer all over buffed in well really makes skin look flawless all day.
Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous 210 Medium Beige
I have spoken about this foundation so much this year!! I think this foundation will always be a go to for me as it just works first time every time. It just never fails when it comes to coverage and longevity!! It great for everyday as well as for more special occasions!!
Avon CC Cream in Medium
I have been looking all year for a light foundation that would be a go to for makeup when wanting something light, easy and quick to apply and lasting a decent amount of time. Something for those times that you just want to slap something on and run out the door!!
Discovering this sample via a beauty box this is the first CC cream that I have come across that I have really seen results. A light to medium coverage this cream goes on so smooth is really easy to blend and definetly diminishes the redness around my nose and on my cheeks. Now with my oily combo skin longevity is only really half a day but for something to put on to go grocery shopping or run errands this is perfect.
Maybelline Instant Age Eraser Dark Circle Eraser
Whether its on its own or layering under a brightening concealer this is always my go to when it comes to hiding the darkness under my eyes. I do also love it as a eye primer to get rid of shadow and any redness either way it goes on easily, blends well and stays all day.
Australis Banana Powder
I have enjoyed this all through the year. Predominately I will use this to set concealer under the eyes and down the nose but I also enjoy it as a matte highlight for the brow bone it really does what it says helping to conceal darkness and hide any extra redness.
Nude by Nature Pressed Mineral Cover in Medium
I am still constantly surprised by how much I enjoy this powder after never liking the original loose version. This is my go to when I want extra coverage to set my makeup, when I want a compact for touch ups. In combination with a flat top kabuki brush this just goes on smooth, is easy to blend and its never looked to powdery or turned cakey on me.
Designer Brands Pro Contour
I have really gotten into contouring this year and while I tried a few of the more popular palettes on the market this one from Designer brands has come out on top this year!! Not only is it light weight but it also has a decent sized mirror in the lid. When it comes to contouring these shades are pigmented but not super pigmented which I prefer when it comes to contouring I prefer to build and blend over trying to blend out stripes of colour all over my face I also love to mix the shades depending on how warm or deep I wish. In terms of highlight I switch and change all the time while I love my banana powder I also love the more skin tone powders you find in the palette great for the cheeks and forehead. The best part is that this whole palette is matte so no shimmer unless you wish to add it!!
Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette in 002 Coral glow and Models prefer Instant glow in sculpted glow.
Ok so while I have really preferred matte for full face contouring for a everyday makeup of something to throw into a travel makeup bag these have been my go to!! I just cannot go past a warm toned bronzer, peachy pink blush and a golden toned highlight. Yes they all have a shimmer running through them but when these palettes make it so easy to complete a full face of makeup its a no brainer. The Rimmel Kate is just so universal and I like it for its compact packaging I also love that this looks good on anyone!! The Models prefer is the more recent find it is slightly more pigmented but I love it as much and to be honest there are actually a lot of mornings I will use the blush from one, bronzer from the other and mix the highlight!!!
Bloom Cosmetics Eye definer in Dark Brown
If there is one product that I have never found an alternate for its this one and believe me I have tried. I use this eyeliner practically everyday and when it started to get hard to find bloom cosmetics instore I tried to find a different brand that compares (just in case) but as yet nothing!! This pencil liner is just the perfect consistency, creamy and easy to apply it also blends beautifully. Its dark enough to give strong definition but doesn't look as harsh as a black and stays all day without fading, smudging or sliding across my eyelid!! Its the perfect liner.
Chi Chi Professional Small Stippling #124
After seeing a lot of youtubers use a small stipple to apply foundation when I saw this had to pick it up. While I do find applying foundation with this brush gives smooth and flawless results it does take a bit more time to apply and blend given the brush itself is so small. But its the small brush size and its blending abilities that I love so much. Perfect for blending out concealer, cream contour and cream blush I also love using it to apply banana powder under the eyes. The size allows you to be precise when applying and blending out as well as being to get around small areas of the face. This brush also has quite soft bristles!!
Models Prefer Airbrush Foundation MPA101
This is a brush that I probably should have added to my Ride or Die post as if I could only have one face brush ever again it would be this one. For me this brush lends itself to more than just foundation. While I do love it first and foremost for liquid and cream products as it allows you to apply foundation almost like a traditional foundation brush applying streaks of foundation to then buff out effortlessly. At the same time you can apply and blend out concealer without having to change brushes. I also find that it applies powder quite well. The size, dense bristles and rounded shape that is slightly tapered sees the brush pick up powder easily and apply precisely as well as allowing you to blend out. Application of both bronzer and blush are a no brainer with this one.

Not only have Maslow and Co shopped the best of beauty and skin care from all over the globe (UK, USA, Korea, New Zealand and Australia) for this box they also have included not one, not two but THREE makeup items!!!! So without too much more rambling lets get started......
Zelens Transformer Instant Renewal Mask received the travel size 15ml
All the way from the UK this mask as the name suggests will transform your complexion to a firmer more refined state in 15 minutes all using plant based ingredients. Actually interested to try this is a wash off mask which I find less scary to use than sheet masks interested to see the results.
Manna Kadar Beauty Day Dream Palette received one
USA all the way with this beauty brand!! I was so excited to open this!! This is an all in one palette that looks like its perfect for gals like me that are on the go. Sporting 6 eye shadows both matte and shimmer, bronzer blush and highlight, Just add foundation really!! While I have not swatched yet I am thinking that pigmentation won't be a problem. I love that its neutral perfect for everyday. Cannot wait to try!!
Benefit Hoola Bronzer received a 3g deluxe travel size
WOW is all I can say for this product!! Maslow and Co must have read my mind, as this Christmas was finally going to buy this bronzer and see what the hype is all about. I have seen so many reviews raving about this I just finally wanted to actually try for myself. Will have to try see what its like and may have to buy the full size!!!
Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar received one in the shade 02
This is the third and final makeup item for the box and even though I am not a big lip gloss I am still excited to see this. The packaging alone is so cute. The gloss itself it quite smooth there is only a small amount of tint to it but on the lips it seems quite moisturising and its not sticky. So far so good.
Wyte Luxe Whitening Applicator received a full size 5ml
This teeth whitener pen is from the Aussie brand Wyte. This gel in a pen this has a brush applicator that allows easy application to the teeth to make them brighter and whiter. Don't currently use any whitening products so interested to try!!
Beenigma Face cream received a 5ml deluxe travel size
Ok so this cream from New Zealand uses the sting from bees and combines it with Manuka Honey, Kawakana and Kiwifruit to produce a face cream that promotes the production of Collagen in the skin to both plump and smooth, whilst promoting healing to any problem areas. Not too sure about this one I have to say its almost on par with the snail face mask we got in the Korean box I want to see what its like but unsure if I am game enough to try!! We will see...
Neogen Bio Peel Gauze in Wine and Lemon received one of each.
I first thought these where face masks but after reading the booklet with the box I soon came to learn that this product is ahead of its game in the Korean market. Offering the best of both worlds when it comes to face exfoliation and peels. These are face pads infused to act both as a chemical peel but also have a textured side which allows for a mechanical peel as well. Something a little different interested to try!!
So that ends Maslow and Co Global box, I am really impressed by this box. I have received so many interesting products over the year and I am really interested to see what the next year holds. As I am posting this while the festive season is in full swing. I hope you all are having a wonderful time and that all the days are filled with fun, family, laughter and good cheer.
