Hey Readers, I hope this post finds you well!! I am here with another BB post this month as I have just received Octobers box. Now I know I only just spoke about BB September a couple of weeks ago but despite only a couple of weeks between boxes I have tried everything and ready to give my review!!!!
Neutrogena Makeup Wipes
While these did go into my travel stash. I can say that these wipes do the job quite well. They easily remove a hard days makeup and remove not only mascara but heavy black liner with ease. My only criticism is that I do find sometimes they can be a bit wet with excess remover which seems to vary from pack to pack.
Salon Tan Professional Face Lotion.
OK so I was quite apprehensive about using this on my face. I don't generally fake tan my body so the thought of tanning my face seemed a bit odd. As I still wanted to give it a try I decided to try on my decolletage and shoulder area I feel the skin here is still delicate and I wanted to see if it would even out my skin tone and slightly cover those strap marks. Really easy to apply and surprisingly spreads evenly and rubs in easily no fuss and very little mess. It did take a few applications for me to get a nice colour but overall happy with this and will use again.
Klorane Qunninne Shampoo
Not a bad shampoo this one foams up and cleans quite well the smell isn't the greatest but my hair looked and felt great so overall very happy!!
Cactus Skin Care White Clay Mask
I have actually managed to use this product before writing this post its a first for me and I am quite proud of myself!!! I was left a comment on my Instagram photo of this box by a fellow BB subscriber to say that despite not having sensitive skin she had had a reaction to this product as a result I did try on the back of my hand first just in case while there was no adverse reaction for me I do recommend this if your ever unsure. In regards to the product while it does go on smooth and feels quite light, I did find that being clay based as it dried it did start to make my face feel tight and uncomfortable the end result though was my skin left feeling soft and smooth not bad!!
Sleek Makeup Eye Dust
The most exciting product of the box for me this month and this gorgeous blue black is amazing!! While I haven't got to show it off somewhere yet I did create a winged liner look using this at home to give it a try!! Goes on smooth is extremely pigmented and lasts a long time. Very happy!!
Bellabox October
Well this month BB turns three!! Happy Birthday BB!!! I cannot believe its been three years since I opened my first box and they have definitely come a long way!! This month BB has also collaborated with Nicole from Missguided to select products and while I don't know much about Nicole we definitely have received a present with this box which for me is how I feel birthday boxes should be. The theme of the box is born to be wild and we have received some great things!!
ModelCo Skin Care received four sachets of various products.
These are samples from the new Modelco skin care range happy to see this have been wanting to try this range and as I got the same samples in most recent LHI pack I feel this is a good double up as I will get to try the products more that once!!!
Rimmel Lip product received an Apocolips lip lacquer in the shade 201 Soltice
Given there was a variance of rimmel lip products available this month I have received a great product and shade this month. I already own two apocolips from when they where first released so I know they are a decent product and I also have received a wearable shade!!
Nivea Anti Perspirant Stress Protect 48h recieved a travel friendly size (no ml or g detail on can) full size is 250ml.
Excited to see this I have only just found out about this type of deodorant and have been trying out Rexona's version and so far I am enjoying the results so I am interested to see how this compares!!
Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner recieved a 40ml sample of each full size is 350ml
These are samples of Pantenes new formula of pro V daily moisture renewal. Like the model co sachets I have received these samples recently so can say already that the new formula after one user isn't bad and happy with the results. So happy with this double up as it will mean I get a decent try before possibly buying!!
Kester Black For Bellabox Nail Polish in the shade Ruby Tuesday
BB teamed up with Kester Black to create four colours one of which would be included in every BB box. This is an Australian company and their range of the polishes are high shine, chip resistant and do not contain any nasty chemicals. Ruby Tuesday is a bright red definitely a colour perfect for the summer!!!
MOR Hand Cream received a sachet sample 3ml full size is 80ml
This is the bonus sample for this months box!! Not a bad hand cream I have tried a couple of other fragrances before so happy to give this a try. Once again not sure how this fits with the theme of the box but not a bad bonus either.

Hope this post finds you well. Today I have something rather exciting to share!!! A while back I was reading a Marie Claire magazine and stumbled upon an advertisement for the parcel. I was intrigued so had to find out more!!! Put together by the lovely ladies behind Marie Claire magazine the parcel is a box that contains the the ultimate in luxury, cutting-edge formulations to purse-friendly buys used by the pros. Deluxe beauty samples delivered to your door. I just had to sign up!!! This box is released quarterly with each new season and a little bit more expensive at $25 box but I have to say it is well worth it!!!
So what inside the spring edit.......
Lancome Visonnaire Advanced Skin Corrector received a 7ml deluxe sample full size is 30ml
The serum inside this little blue bottle says that it is a second gen skin perfecting serum that will visibly correct wrinkles, pores, skin texture in six weeks. Interested to see how this works, feels on the skin and whether it works
Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stains received the shade 040 Shanghai Sizzle.
A cross between a lipstick and a gloss this offers a long lasting and hydrating lip colour applied liberally for colour saturation or dab on with a finger for a on trend stain. This is a bright coral red which usually isn't my colour but I am thinking its time to step outside the lip colour square!!
Gwen Stefani by O.P.I Nail Laquers received the shade Isao Paulo Over There
These polishes are limited edition heavy metals and classic punk shades perfect for adding a touch of glamour grunge to your spring wardrobe. This is the only thing I am not so happy about in this box, while this chocolate taupe shade is very glamour grunge and looks like a colour Ms Stefani would wear sadly this particular colour is not a part of her collection but in fact a part of brazil collection from opi. Nonetheless it is a neutral shade and I am interested to see how it wears!!
Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner and They're Real Mascara received a deluxe sample size of each.
The much talked, blogged and vlogged about They're real set by benefit while I wasn't as excited to see the mascara simply as I have tried this before I am very excited to try the push up liner, this little sample size is so cute and I have been wanting to know just how good this product is.
L'oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray received a purse size 75ml
This is an undetectable, ultra fine hairspray that gives long lasting hold but allows hair to move. It can also be brushed out at the end of the day. I am interested to try have not used this hair spray before.
Pantene Pro V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner received a 40ml deluxe sample of both full size is 200ml.
This is the bonus product to this edition. This is the new formulation of this shampoo and conditioner that offers intense hydration and works to repair and revitalise damaged stands. Have used pantene before so I am interested to try particularly when without even opening the bottles I can smell its beautiful scent.
So that ends the Spring Edit, Overall I am very happy with what I have received, I like that fact that there is a little bit of everything included in this box and that all items are deluxe or full size with no sachets in sight. I also like that this includes more higher end brands but also those that are affordable. A fairly high standard has been set so I am interested to see what comes in future boxes!!! Hope this post finds you well!! I once again have a collection of mascaras that are in need of being blogged about. These have been in my rotation since my last post and I felt it time to tell you if they really live up to the hype and pitch we are given by there makers. Hope you enjoy!!!
Covergirl Lashblast Fushion Water Resistant
The Pitch: Covergirl gives a super volumising and buildable fiber strength legthening mascara that thickens and extends lashes as well as being water resistant.
The Reality: I do really enjoy how the short bristles of the rubber wands in the lashblast collection catch and separate the lashes this formula also gives a decent amount of volume without the excess product. The only place where I feel this this falls is its water resistance. It it not only failed me post a hot day but also post exercise. It seems that any type of heat and sweat will cause this to flake and smear not the greatest look!!! Overall while I like the formula I probably will go back to the non water resistant version next time.
Maybelline Volum Express the Falsies Big Eyes
The Pitch: The first eye opening double brush for an eye opening false lash effect. The
Upper lash brush volumises top lashes, fanning them up and out and the lower lash brush magnifies every last lash without any mess. Eyes look dramatically bigger and wider.
The Reality: While this does give great volume and definition to the lashes with a definite dramatic results!! Sadly this mascara formula and I do not mix. Every time I used this it irritated my eyes my lashes often felt sticky and itchy and often I found myself rubbing it off my lashes. I also found the top lash mascara constantly clumped my lashes and I was left with excess product on my lashes. The bottom lash mascara however is a lot better formula and I have used that more than the either side the smaller brush makes application easy and defined my bottom lashes perfectly.
Maybelline Volum Express the Turbo
The Pitch: this formula says it will give the lushest and most gorgeous smudge proof lashes. The turbo boost formula and anti clump brush thickens lashes for up to 7x more volume.
The Reality: Not sure if I got seven times volume to my lashes but if definitely gives great volume and great definition to the lashes the smaller brush allows for easy application to both the top and bottom lashes and it lasts all day long.

I hope this post finds you well. September BB arrived at my door just as we said goodbye to September but I was so excited to see it as September is my birthday month that I will excuse the tardiness and the lack of pretty blue box packaging!!! I am also quite happy with whats inside but before I get into that I will review the items from my August box.
August Review
Eco Tools Detailed Lip Brush
As I said in my original post I really don't use lip brushes that often so this only got one use but it does apply product well. The brush itself is soft and flexible so applying product is easy would use again if I needed.
Naturals Hand sanitiser spray
This one went straight into my camping travel pack and has stayed there I haven't gone any where this month so haven't really needed to use this hopefully I will get an opportunity to go camping at some point and be able to test this one out.
Eco Tool Cellulose Facial Sponges
This was a surprise for me this month I did not think I would enjoy them as much as I have!! They are great for turning any regular cleanser into and exfoliator helping to get rid of makeup but also great for the body as well have really enjoyed adding them to my skincare and shower routine.
OGX Shampoo and Conditioner
Despite the coconut scent of these I was really impressed with the results of these products. So much so I went out and bought the full size just in a different version. Both of these are really great products I like how well they wash your hair quickly and easily but the fact that it lasts I don't get to day three and my hair looks like I haven't washed it for a week I get to day three and it needs washing but still looks semi respectable really loving and will purchase again.
Maybelline Colour Show Nail Lacquer
Not my favourite polish I have ever been sent in a beauty box but not that bad either. These colour show polishes have a decent formula and do last a decent amount of time but the
black with the gold glitter just didn't suit me.
September Bellabox
September BB came with the theme of Beauty Wardrobe and I have to say there are some products in this box that I consider definitely essentials to any beauty wardrobe.
Neutrogena Makeup Wipes received a 7 towelette deluxe sample full size is 25 towelettes
Ultra soft cloths that gently remove all traces of makeup including waterproof mascara. I have used these before so I can say that they work quite well, happy to have a small travel size that will fit into an overnight bag or handbag.
Salon Tan Professional Face Lotion received a full size 75ml tube
This is a self tanning lotion that is designed to be gentle enough for the face it not only contains antioxidants that help to prevent aging but also is based on naturally derived ingredients. Not too sure about this one as I don't usually use self tanning products but am interested to see how it works.
Klorane Quinnine and Vitamin B Shampoo received a 25ml sample full size is 200ml
This shampoo is vitamin enriched to strengthen, volumise and leave hair glossy. Quinine and B6 is included to stimulate hair follicles and enhance blood micro circulation. I have not tried a shampoo like this before I am interested to see if it makes a difference to my hair.
Cactus skincare White Clay Mask recieved a 15ml sample pot full size 70ml
This is a detoxifying mask that says within 15-20 mins it will leave skin feeling clean, luminous and refreshed. Interested to see what this is like will have to make time for some pampering.
Sleek Makeup Eye Dust received a 6.5g in the shade 686 Hypnotic
This is the most exciting product I have received from BB yet, Hypnotic is a gorgeous dark blue glitter shadow and my first sleek product!! Exited to create a look with this one.
For BB September we have received two bonus samples and amazingly they fit the beauty wardrobe theme perfectly.
Revlon Colorstay Makeup received a 1.5ml sachet sample full size is 30ml
I not only received this sample in the shade natural beige which should be a good match for me I also have never tried this foundation before so happy to give a try.
Garnier Perfect Blur received a 1.5ml sachet full size is 22ml
I already own this in the full size. I bought this one when it was first released so I already know its a fairly good primer. But non the less an essential to any makeup routine.
